Although thorough in a variety of bodies of knowledge, Joe specializes in applied Kinesiology and Biomechanics as they relate to program design and corrective exercise;  maximal relative strength development; and athletic performance enhancement.

 

With health and fitness as a constant passion throughout his life, it made for a natural fit and progression into becoming his professional outlet.  By designing  specific programs, Joe  helps clients work towards the achievement of their health and fitness goals with the ultimate end result of building happier and healthier lives for those he works with.

STEVE ORLANDO

In the weight room, Steve is known for his unique + cutting-edge approach to functional strength training + conditioning, 
At an early age, while in high school, participating in various organized sports + competitions, Steve knew his life would be devoted to health + wellness. He began entering "Strongman" competitions + placing first within his initial competitions.  He went on to receive his BA in Exercise Science-Human Performance at SCSU. He then furthered his knowledge of the human body by getting multiple advanced certifications in both CrossFit + RTS.

TODD DEGREE

Todd has been involved in athletics and fitness for over 20 years.  He has worked in various capacities for the Connecticut Skyhawks (United States Basketball League), Centenary College of Louisiana Athletic Department, Georgia State University Athletic Department, the New Haven Ninjas (arenafootball2) and the New York Dragons (Arena Football League).  In all, Todd has been involved with 18 collegiate and professional sports, working with seven teams that advanced to NCAA tournaments.  He has trained numerous high school and collegiate athletes including future Olympic Medalist Caitlin Cahow (Bronze – 2006, Silver – 2010: Women’s Ice Hockey) and Rachel Willis (2-time captain, Army Volleyball).

 

Todd, a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, holds a bachelors degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a masters in business administration from Georgia State University.  He is currently a professor at Gateway Community College in New Haven, CT where he developed the Exercise Science program..

 Lorraine’s leadership and dedication has led her to being the captain of the winning team of a Biggest Loser Contest, as well as being a top class instructor, including Boot Camp.

JULIANA OLIARO

Juliana Oliaro is a Fitness Professional and Bone Health Specialist who graduated from the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Orlando, FL at the top percentile of her class. NPTI is a 600-hour course of theory and practical application accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Besides the diploma in Personal Training, Juliana also received two specialty certifications: Speedblast Training® and Osteoblast Training®.   

 

 

Growing up, Juliana has always been active through a variety of sports such as soccer, softball, snowboarding and horseback riding. At the age of 16, Juliana began weightlifting with her Personal Trainer and at a Crossfit studio. Upon graduating from Fairfield University in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Juliana knew she wanted to become an entrepreneur. While working with her Personal Trainer in the summer of 2019, Juliana knew she wanted to become a Fitness Professional. The continuous process, dedication and determination inspired her to help others. 

Today, Juliana balances her life competing with her horse, playing on various softball leagues and focusing on her and her clients’ fitness goals. Weightlifting and stabilization exercises have strengthened Juliana in the saddle and on the field. Through her structured, personalized programs and encouraging, fun and motivational approach, Juliana is eager to achieve clients’ greatest potentials in the health and fitness industry

MARY RACE

Mary has worked in the fitness Industry for the past 10 years as both a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.  She is presently the Head Coach of the Watertown Park and Recreation swim team.  Besides coaching swimming, she also coaches triathletes in running, swimming and biking.
