MARY

Mary has worked in the fitness Industry for the past 10 years as both a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.  She is presently the Head Coach of the Watertown Park and Recreation swim team.  Besides coaching swimming, she also coaches triathletes in running, swimming and biking.

STEVE 

In the weight room, Steve is known for his unique + cutting-edge approach to functional strength training + conditioning, 
At an early age, while in high school, participating in various organized sports + competitions, Steve knew his life would be devoted to health + wellness. He began entering "Strongman" competitions + placing first within his initial competitions.  He went on to receive his BA in Exercise Science-Human Performance at SCSU. He then furthered his knowledge of the human body by getting multiple advanced certifications in both CrossFit + RTS.

SHEA

Shea has over thirteen years of experience working with hardstyle kettlebell. As an exercise and movement enthusiast, Shea utilities all types of functional fitness modalities. However, her main focus has always remained on kettlebells, because they combine strength and flexibility at its finest. 

Shea has  trained for – and completed – multiple certifications from Dragon Door Russian Kettlebell Challenge including Hardstyle Kettlebell (HKC) & Level 1 Russian kettlebell Instructor (RKC).  She choose to continue her education with Strongfirst (SFG) to become a kettlebell certified instructor.    

Along with her group fitness certification, Shea completed her Personal Training certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Whether through correctives, kettlebells or coaching Shea hopes to inspire all her clients to be strong in all aspects of their life.

Todd has been involved in athletics and fitness for over 20 years.  He has worked in various capacities for the Connecticut Skyhawks (United States Basketball League), Centenary College of Louisiana Athletic Department, Georgia State University Athletic Department, the New Haven Ninjas (arenafootball2) and the New York Dragons (Arena Football League).  In all, Todd has been involved with 18 collegiate and professional sports, working with seven teams that advanced to NCAA tournaments.  He has trained numerous high school and collegiate athletes including future Olympic Medalist Caitlin Cahow (Bronze – 2006, Silver – 2010: Women’s Ice Hockey) and Rachel Willis (2-time captain, Army Volleyball).

 

Todd, a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, holds a bachelors degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a masters in business administration from Georgia State University.  He is currently a professor at Gateway Community College in New Haven, CT where he developed the Exercise Science program.
